Nicaragua Summer 18

Summer '18: Nicaragua

For two weeks in July, Cada Casa will be hosting an exclusive group of students to study, volunteer, and experience the beautiful country of Nicaragua.  The trip will be divided into two parts: Granada (the city) and Playa Marsella (the beach).  Our time in Granada will be spent learning about the history and culture of the country, while our time on the beach will be spent learning about Tropical Ecology and volunteering with some Marine Biology conservation efforts.  For more information, feel free to contact the trip's organizer: Tymon Emch.

Beaverton Snowboard Alliance

The Beaverton Snowboarding Alliance was founded to unite snowboarders of the Beaverton School District.  During January and February we meet up, ride on Thursday evenings, and compete (but for separate schools) on Saturdays.  Our alliance allows us to build inter-school connections, share in transportation and coaching resources, and push one another to become better riders. If you are a high school student in the Beaverton area you are welcome to join.  It doesn't matter if this is your first time (actually, it is a great/cheap way to learn), or if you are ready to compete; all are welcome. BSA Holiday Cards

Cada Casa teamed up with Beaverton High snowboard riders to create holiday cards.  These will be available for sale at the Beaverton HS Holiday Bazaar on November 18th.
